Steps up a hill

Do this one thing to start feeling better

Many of us have fallen off the wagon with healthy eating and lifestyle practices over Christmas.

Or maybe you have an ongoing health condition like endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS or IBS but just feel overwhelmed by where to start with managing the condition.

Well, whether it’s getting back on track after Christmas or managing a long term health condition, the answer is to start small.

Often the thought of making lots of changes all at once it what puts us off starting at all.

So start small, with just one thing. That often feels a lot more manageable and something that you can commit to doing regularly. Once you’ve done that for a bit, you can then add in another thing.

But what do you start with?

I see so many people where stress is making their symptoms worse, so start with doing something to help you relax and get your nervous system out of fight or flight mode. It could be going for a walk, doing some yoga or stretches, having a soak in the bath or doing some deep breathing exercises.

Doing this one thing consistently in time, can make a big difference to your health. Once your nervous system relaxes, your digestion works better, pain levels can ease and hormone levels are more balanced.

Managing stress alone isn’t usually enough to completely get to the bottom of long term health problems, but it can start to make a difference. Adding in some food changes and supplement support over time is when you start to get even better results.

So instead of feeling overwhelmed or guilty about going off track over Christmas, just find your one thing and stick to it.

And if you want someone to work out a plan for what you need to do to get your endometriosis, adenomyosis or IBS back in balance, that doesn’t mean big changes all at once, then get in touch. Small changes, that feel manageable are my game plan.
